Title: some serviceable designs
Post by ve77er on Mar 27th, 2013 at 11:52pm
Corvettes have been with us now for over 60 years that's a pretty incredible run for a model of any make, I think only VW and JEEP beat the Corvette for longevity, but in the 60 or so years there have been many designs that have endured the test of time feel free to add to any I may miss,
+ the 2 speed powerglide transmission 1953-1967
+ the turbo-hydramatic transmission 1968-1981
+ the C-2/C-3 chassis 1963-1982
+ the C-4 chassis 1984(3)-1996
+ the hydroformed chassis of the C-5/C-6 1997-2013
+ the seat adjustment knob (back/forth) of the C-3 actually was used on the doors of the C-1/C-2
+ the small block pushrod V-8 saw numerous adaptations but still remains a Corvette mainstay since 1955
these are a few I thought of please add to the list as you see fit!
