Title: four post lift story

I have no Idea what the problem was but it makes you think when you
buy for the lowest price or if it is made in China it could happen.

This is a guy who posts on the Pontiac forum a lot. He has a really cool garage with some pretty nice cars & trucks...

I see 2 things wrong here.. One when you buy from China you get cheap material & two always drop the lift on the stops, don't depend on the hydraulic  system to support a car. I could  never understand why someone would buy a cheap lift to support an expensive car???

A lot of the 4 post lifts don't have to be secured to the floor. Mine isn't & can be moved with the use of a dolly attachment on each leg. His problem was buying a cheap lift & not locking it in position properly.
