Title: Rebuilding T-top Latch
Post by Vettenut on May 6th, 2019 at 4:10pm
Has anyone rebuilt the t-top latch on a 1981 with the pins that hold the top in place. I have one of the pins that has rusted and swollen up enough that it won't retract when the latch lever is pulled down, so I can't get the t-top off. I have a kit coming with new pins and bushings, but was looking for some advice from someone that might have done this.

I put new ones on my 68 which should be the same as your 73. The molding has to come off & the screws are underneath the molding. Mine came off easy once I figured that out.

I'm talking about the front pins...mine is a convertible
