Title: DUI
Post by ve77er on Oct 30th, 2019 at 3:33pm
My daughter was sitting (stopped) at a traffic light when a guy made a turn too sharp and clipped the front bumper of the Audi A4 needless to say, he didn't bother to stop but, Karma was in the area and this clown hit a utility pole a little bit further down the road. the Police took my daughter to the spot and asked her if that was the car and guy who hit her. of course it was, it was placed under arrest and charged with leaving the scene and DUI so, I'm still waiting for his Insurance (good2go) to get back to me after I reported the claim and damage to them. if he is Legal in PA, there shouldn't be a problem, he was definitely 100% at fault.
it's always something!!!

Turns out the guy didn't have any insurance in force at the time even though he gave the investigating officer a " valid"  (date wise) insurance card.
People!!!

the investigating officer told me the court date will be December 16th and the guy got the additional charge of driving without insurance, you better believe I'm going to court that day, turns out this wasn't a kid who made a mistake, no, this loser is 52 years old!!! I want to see what measure of justice the judge will hand down. I'm not expecting much here, but hoping he gets what's coming to him.

Sorry to hear this Chris, over  the years my daughter has has similar run ins with creeps like this.  I seriously doubt that the libs in your court system will do anything but slap his wrist. The world is not equal my friend....good luck on the surgery & heal fast.

Hey Alan, I remember when we were visiting you back in 2007 where a mexican rear-ended your daughter and you had to leave to go help her out.

I know that knee surgery can be a bitch, just do the rehab & it will come around. I've had many friends go thru that....
Talk about unfair..my daughter  was rear ended last Jan by 2  illegals & there daughter. I went & looked at there car & spoke to the officer who wrote up the report. It was totally there fault...Yesterday I get a call from my insurance agent & they are suing for injury damages. We gotta start deporting theses creeps..it's out of control.

we won the court case and were awarded restitution it was supposed to start 1 month after the disposition of the case but so far, nada. I'll give it a while longer before I contact the court. it's still a matter of principle with me.
