I put one in my vet & now that the hot weather is here I can't believe the difference...at least 20-25 degrees cooler in 90 degree weather. 175 all the time with the air on...I wasted alot of time & money on that front puller fan, which I don't need now.

Hey,I just got the alum. rad/electric fan combo & although I really havent had the weather to test it well it seems like a great upgrade. One problem though, since I saw what you have posted here! I mentioned this Forum & asked about discounts,& they said there werent any. Seeing as you've said we Forum members were to get free shipping,I should have gotten $42.00 off! Can I still get it ???

I put in a DeWitts aluminum radiator just before I moved to SC 3 years ago.  Prior to putting it in, I would go to over 220 degrees pretty quickly especially if stuck in traffic or going up hill.  With the aluminum radiator, in the South Carolina heat, I never go above 190 and normally stay at 170.  I did, however, also install a Dr Rebuild radiator sealing kit with the foam that seals the radiator off from the engine compartment forcing air through the radiator instead of around/over it.
