My 1977 vetts rear end is lower then the front. Everything in the back is new what could be the problem. Huh

This Topic was moved here from 1977 Corvette NCRS Information by Knotacare.

You can adjust the height by moving the nut on the long bolts connected to the leaf spring ends. After you get the height where it should be or where you like it, take it to an alignment shop. Moving the rear up & down will affect the front aligment.

Jlamb two ideas. When the rear end was redone did they replace the rear spring adjusting bolts? If they did they may have put in the longer bolts rather than the stock length  bolts. Also did they put in a new spring in the rear? If not that may be the reason it its a little lower. Like Alan said you can adjust the bolts to raise and lower the height of the car. Just recheck the alignment as any changes effect alignment. Wink. Good luck  Bob

jlamb, old springs tend to compress over time and are not the height they are intended to be when new.  If new springs were not installed, might look in to replacing them.  As others have mentioned don't forget about alignment.  Lots of people overlook it after doing springs.
