I am wondering how many mid-year Corvettes today are 100% original I remember an awful lot of these undergoing customization and modifications before they were ever considered "collectible" things that come to mind are fender flares, third tail lights, removing the "split" on the 1963's to bring them "up to date" ect. ect. so, when you see  C-2 for sale you have to ask the question was it ever modified? I bring this up because I see Barrett-Jackson and Pro-team still get some serious money for this series.

Not very many I'd bet, Chris.  All I've every seen have been modified.
