I took a lot of pictures, none show the angle of the sway bar, guess I better check it out before I do the next project. There is a corvette shop about 60 miles or so from here. I plan on putting it on a trailer and hauling it to them to get the front aligned.

Just make sure they use the spec's from speed direct & if the steering doesn't come back to center add a bit of toe in.

Ron, like Mark has said take photo's.  Now a days with these digital cameras it's so easy and costs you nothing but saves you in guessing.  I take pictures of things I need to buy with the phone and have them with me. I hate it when I get to a counter and get asked questions I have no answers for and have to go back home.  The only thing I don't like is when I take a picture and get asked " are you sure that is what you have" no buddy I went down the street and took a picture of my neighbors.

Well the rack and pinion is installed with all new bushing and ball joints. Decided to replace the front calipers while I was at it since the rear are new and the passenger front had a leak. Thought I was moving along at a decent pace until I went to replace the light switch that went bad a while back, when I went to put the new one in it was the wrong one ( no vacuum hook up)   Sad . Thought I would just replace the to piece with the old one when the tab broke, guess I will just order one, another delay  Sad .

Dropped off the vette this morning and told them to give me a call when they were done as they had two others waiting for the alignment rack. Picked it up at 3:00 today, got to say its one of the best upgrades I have done to it so far. It was a great ride home, took the long way  Smiley.
Thanks for all the help.

Ron
