Been throwing this around for awhile. I'm  looking for a coolant exchanger to make the antifreeeze exchange  easier.  I feel it should really done every 3-4 yrs. Looking on Ebay I have found some used ones in the $400.00 - $500.00 range & with the number of cars I am responsible for it should pay for itself pretty quick.  Never used one before so I'm open for comments, but I've been researching & they seem easy enough & do away from draining the radiator & block.

would you buy 2? one for the green and one for the Dexcool? or do you convert all the cars to run on one or the other? I too think this would be beneficial to you and the fleet!

p.s. may need tires for the Terraza sooner than the spring, Kim has been putting on some mileage lately! I'll let you know.

The one I'm looking at has an extra tank, but I will never put Dexcool back in any car. I've seen the damage to cooling systems it causes.

I purchased a used Sun Coolant Exchange machine (Snap on) yesterday http://www.snaponequipment.com/productinfo/models.asp?category=ce&brand=Snap-on&...
So I should enjoy  doing radiator flushes now Roll Eyes...I've always dreaded draining coolant & you never get all the coolant out of the engine even if you take out the drain plugs & get soaked. The unit holds 8 gallons in two separate tanks & checks the pressure plus pulls a vacuum on the engine so the new coolant goes in air bubble free. Cool You can do complete flushes also...

I sure agree I've seen what Dexcool can do to a cooling system first hand especially the heater cores. Wouldn't surprise me that GM designed the stuff to get cars in the shop after 4+ years.
