Made it home from another successful trip on Destiny!

Two weeks plus a day or two split in the middle by a visit to Victory BC.
We stayed aboard at the docks in front of the Emperess Hotel for 3 days where our daughter, son in-law and their two dogs joined us and our Corgi!

All the rest of the time was spent sailing from spot to spot and anchoring out!
There is nothing like sailing into an anchorage and setting the anchor under sail!

Last year we added a solar panel to the radar arch and it was just enough to take the strain off our very large house batteries! We also learned we did not need to run our freezer at night. It stays cold enough! That in itself was a huge gain in power savings!

Without our kids on board we suddenly have an abundance of water for showers and such!
We miss the kids but we do not miss the water rationing! LOL!
Hmm, like our home, after the kids all moved out, Destiny just seems to have grown!

It is good to be home but I sure could use another vacation soon! LOL!

Scott

That's funny you bringing up the water issue.  When my kids finally moved out for good my water usage is 1/3 of what is was....but I'm paying the same.
