saw a 1994 Black Rose 6 speed coupe for 5999 it is in very good condition and "freshly serviced" it has grey interior and 135000 miles on her but looks in remarkable shape I am tempted but, I really want to wait another year to see if I can swing a C-5/6 or get back into a C-3. still, for the money being asked this C-4 is very tempting.

Hey, IF you like driving a vette a C4 can be the best deal out there now days.

Remember they are getting older now. The older C4's used OBD1. All the little sensors are getting old. MANY times you can pull a faulty sensor or to and clean them. That will clear issues a lot of the time!

Also they run great until they need a tune up. At that point the drivability will go down so fast you will think there is a major issue. When in reality all it needs is plugs, wires, etc. You know the drill! Give her a full tune up!

Good luck in your choice!

pull the trigger and buy when the cost is down, I have a C3, C4 & C6. my 1984 runs fantastic at 96000 miles, Crossfire was not a good thing but I have zero issues, it runs better than most cars on the road and bought at 4000 was fantastic. Be not afraid.

Go for it Chris... you can always upgrade later on. Black Rose is a lovely color! I'm going for the C4 route myself next year, the 40th anniversary ruby red, both tops is the plan.

I agree with the above...you only live once & you can always resell it. I also think the prices will start climbing on the old cars.
