My 1977 Corvette just went over 50K miles and the original OEM exhaust system is developing some pin holes after 40 years. It'll need to be replaced, but there's nothing I hate more than an original 1977 Corvette with some funky after-market exhaust, especially the ones with excessively long pipes protruding from the mufflers.  Who sells the best OEM-looking, stock-sounding 1977 exhaust system?  Would appreciate thoughts/recommendations.  Thanks.

Do you want to stay with the single exhaust & a cat or do you want true duals?  The best way is to find someone in your area that can fab the exhaust you want.  Many people go with a much bigger exhaust than they need & loose power, you need back pressure to get TQ.

I'm the original owner of my 77--special ordered and picked up on April 2, 1977--and want to keep it 100% stock, at least to the extent possible.  Car is L-48, 4-speed with 50,250 miles.  Wish I didn't have to replace the system, but time has taken it's toll.
