something happened in 2014 that had not appeared in the Corvette since 1965 I'm wondering who here will guess the answer...............

no, round tail lights first appeared on the 1961 Corvette and remained until 2014. here's a hint: the Beach Boys song "Shutdown" mentions that to what I am referring!

Partially correct Scott. I was looking for fuel injected Stingray now FI returned in 1982 on the last year of the Sharks and ran through the entire run of C-4,5,& 6's but the moniker fuel injected Stingray returned in 2014

The 68 corvette was not a stingray...came back in 69.

Very true Alan, but I was only referring to a fuel injected Stingray and in 1965 with the introduction of the 396 big block the Rochester FI system fell out of favor because it had less HP than the Big block and cost $50 mmore
