I just turned 150,000 miles on my 2007 Impala LTZ the car is basically stock and running great these days although it has been a work in progress getting it to run this well I have installed cross drilled rotors at all four wheels and upgraded some of the links on the sway bars it was "eating" right front hub bearings at an alrming rate but I installed Timken and the last set was over a year ago sop again, upgraded, car rides and handles nice I average 22 MPG's on my daily commute but on straight Highway trips it gets between 28-30 so, for a larger V-6 (3.9) it's pretty respectable. I do like the "Active Fuel Management" which kicks the engine from 6 down to 3 cylinders this feature seems to work very well and appears to be so much better than the previous GM attempt remember the 8-6-4 cylinder deactivation? that was a disaster, with the AFM, there is no loss of power like the other system. well, 150K just breaking in! right!
