you would have thought for sure 1963 right?? I mean after all, it was an absolute home run in every aspect a totally new car from a clean sheet of paper (design wise) features and power to spare but no, not 1963 and, remember how chided the 1968-82 series was treated by the automotive press despite it being the longest production and most successful run in Corvette history, the answer in 65 years of existence only twice---1984 and 1998!! the '84 for obvious reasons--it wasn't a C-3 and touted as a "technological tour de force" and then in 1998 but the honor went to the convertible version with the coupe as an honorable mention.
