No I did not forget 9-11. I have large book full of photos and history on 9-11 by LIFE that I looked over again starting at midnight. Watched a few shows & read some online stuff on 9-11 off and on today too.

Adding to this... I recall clearly when it happened. I was up early with the news on and actually saw the second plane hit the second twin towers. What a shocking time. At the time we lived in a very nice apartment building that had sweeping views of SeaTac International Airport. I'd sit out there for hours watching the planes. On this day it was very quiet as they shut down the airport all day because of 9-11. That was strange to see. The next day we went down to the Seattle Science Center next to the Space Needle and put flowers with the other thousand flowers at the large fountain there. That kind of tragic event stays fresh in my mind very clearly to this day, 17 years later.

Never Forget!

We were in Victoria BC, Canada this year on vacation over 911.
Noticed the Parliament building flying the Canadian flag at half mast.

We did not know why so when we got back to the boat I googled and there were no reasons.
I noticed the date on my ipad and my lights came on.

I guess our good neighbors North of us remember too.
