Iryn and I took advantage of the weather Sunday and took a day drive (all day affair as it was 220 miles round trip) to Takhlakh Lake that sits just under Mt Adams to see what fall foliage was like. We were not disappointed!

Yep, mountains, higher elevations turn first, then the lower elevations, like Tacoma is just starting now. Also depends on the type of trees too.
