As some of you know my BIL recently passed away & left us with thousands of the above..if any of you are interested in something let me know & I'll keep my eye out for it. We are currently starting to list some on DISCOGs & Ebay. I'll let them go for much less than they are worth. The records include 78's, 33's, 45's & some large ones from the 30's up. I have to design a lift system to just get the stuff out of the basement Undecided

Any CD's of Donna Summer, Creedence Clearwater, 70's rock music? Especially interested in Donna Summer 70's such as 1977, Summer released the concept album I Remember Yesterday. The song "I Feel Love"! Heck I'll buy a Donna Summer Album & record player if you have those so I can listen to her.

Yeah, I was eyeballing this one as it is the songs & years I like:

I might as well as get this one... claims its new and not bad price as it cost more than that new back in the day. This will save you the trouble of looking through all those for one title.

You may be wondering how I hear music with my hearing loss, but with my stereo system, cranked up, the pictures on the wall shake. Grin

I don't understand the words, but can hear the music and feel the beat. I enjoy that. Some modern DVD's show CC captioned of the words as they're singing so that's really nice, seeing/hearing what I missed when I was younger. Same thing for all the older TV shows, movies back in 50's 60's, they're all captioned now. Ain't Technology nice! Just wish they had it back then.

He has several turntables ..2 are very expensive & 3 are good but would cost to much to ship back west. Any turntable would hook up to your system. I bought one that can record from the vinyl to a cd or cassette so you only need to play the record once, if you want the name & model let me know & I'll look at it when I get home.

WOW!!!  Shocked
As much as I'd like to have that, it is way out of my price range. You ought to keep it as memory to your Brother in law...

Sorry to hear about your Brother In Law Alan. I can just imagine what kind of musical treasures are down there. I sure would love to look see, but maybe another time. If you need a lift system......there must be a grip of musical stuff in there. Wink

Well we are finally seeing the end...still have a few thousand to get out of the basement & I have 6 pallets loaded with music. I figure around 10K-15 lp's, A pallet of CD's, haven't got into the cassetts yet & I found 2 large storage containers of 8 track tapes (many still sealed). Selling 2-5 pieces each day now. We also have lots of movies on DVD's
