Not sure about a 81 , but the older vettes are a negative.

   No on the build sheet. But you could get a copy of the invoice for some 1977 and up from Gm media archives. It was 50.00 when I got one for my 77....jack

Are Corvettes known to have a build sheet hidden somewhere like under a seat, etc.

My 79 had the build sheet under the differential heat shield. The 70 is yet to be located. It wasn't on the tank or underneath the luggage compartment carpet, the usual places.

if your 1981 was produced at the Bowling Green factory they may still have the microfiche archive on it and they could provide you a copy of the build sheet at a cost (I'm sure) if it was built at St. Louis then it's probably somewhere in the car, top of, front of gas tank, above differential cover, behind carpeting behind the seats, on top of the spare tire cover, these are some of the places they hid them.
