YEAH BABY!

Zipping through our recorded TV choices! I have things like Wheeler Dealers, Street Outlaws, etc in my list of things . . . . .

. . . .  and a saw a new Drag show! Yeah! I don't remember setting it up but hey, that happens from time to time. It only took about 2 seconds to completely read the description! Yep . . . .RuPauls Drag whatever show! Doh!

I picked something else to watch.

I used to watch Wheeler Dealers until Edd China left. I really liked Edd as he gave great details on what he was doing. Then due to the production company's decision to 'dumb down' the very thing which made the show successful in the first place – in-depth coverage of the fixes performed on the cars in the workshop and Edd quit. I don't care fo the new 'funny boy' Ant. Watched the first show, that was it.

Ant does take some getting used to.
They did cut a lot of the details but still give some too. I prefer Ed but still like the show!

I only watched one since. Like Edd much better. They lost me when he quit and for good reason he quit too.
When Edd was on, I watched all of them over time. Reminded me of what I was trying to do when I was attempting to sell C3's with Alan a few years back.
I didn't have the mechanic or equipment to do that. Had I been back where Alan's shop is, I'm sure we'd been very successful.

I agree it's hard to work on cars without the proper setup especially as we age.  I can't get down & work much anymore, but standing I'm fine that's why I have a lift & the lift on the lift...best of 2 worlds. Changed oil & filters in 5 cars a couple of days ago before lunch that included driving them to warm them up & it was easy. Cool

I know about that... working on the hard cement on Yellowjacket for 10 years... such as replacing that whole suspension, that was hard work then... couldn't do that again.
...
And why my next Corvette is to drive and enjoy only.

The vette is so low you really can’t do anything to them. Made me some Corvette ramps that are awesome. I have used them on all our cars except for the truck. The last few years I have slowed down more then I care to admit.

Yeah, I know about that. I just got out of a three day hospital stay because of one tiny wasps sting on my ankle... which turned into blood infection that was creeping up my leg. In ER I had a 104 degree temp and real low BP of 95/58. A little wasp did me in!  Cheesy Grin Cry

The thing is, I've been stung a few times over the years and this is the first time it went past to just an annoyance. I guess that is age factor?

You definitely had a bad allergic reaction & this can happen to anyone. I would talk to your doctor & keep an  antihistamine close by and possibly a epinephrine (auto-injector) around if your doctor  prescribes it... See being married to a ICU Charge nurse  for over 50 yrs pays off Wink

Yup! Your a lucky and blessed man to have Veda in more was than one.

I assume you have a lot of medical gear/supplies on hand, stored for emergencies such as if an accident, EMP, RIOTs, WAR happens... it's bound to happen, but most people have their heads in the sand.... "Can't happen to me" mentality.
