Good morning. I purchased upper and lower tubular control arms from a Corvette person off a site on FB. Have had them installed but when doing an alignment the specs for my 75 say camber should be at +3/4 degree. My upper without shims are now at -2 degrees. I am taking it over to Muskegon Brake for a second opinion but if they cannot align the front end not sure of what to do. Recommendations?

Hate to say it but that's what happens when you buy parts from someone that is not a re-seller with a good reputation. They should be the same. Could be Chinese knock offs.. who knows. I've seen so much Chinese crap out there over the yrs that is complete junk. Good luck hope it's just an inexperienced alignment shop. I would hope a good alignment mechanic can make this right. If it's not to far out & you don't drive it all the time who  cares. My tires always rot before they ever even come close to wearing out.   Another lesson in life I expect

It sucks to think that every time you try to make things better that something always goes not according to plans. Hope you get it worked out
I would love to add that upgrade to my 73 someday

Well, I drop it off tomorrow night and hopefully Muskegon Brake will be able to take care of it. If not I do have Corvette Central's catalog with a pair of uppers in it. Hopefully as pointed out this is not one of life's lessons. Will see Wednes.

Ok, after discussions with Chris at Muskegon Brake, who by the way was extremely helpful, I have found out that my tubular control arms are not set up for stock. According to Chris they could be set u for stock, Auto road racing, drag racing. I thought mine were stock, they are not , they are set for road racing.  Long story short due to money constraints I am going back to my stock arms. Bummer!!!

They all work the same, but the tubular are a bit lighter. On A 350 it probably makes no difference except for looks. On a BB every pound off the front makes a difference. Try listing them on ebay..people are always lookin
