Last week several of us relatives flew to Las Vegas for a fun getaway, to heck with the overblown Chinese Virus. Very strict there though, if your mask is not completely on, they come tell you to put it on or get out and that's everywhere you go.

We stayed at Caesars Palace. A fun place as I've always been fascinated with Rome. So first night there I was outside taking some night shots and saw in the front entrance "drop off" lot a brand new mid-engine Corvette parked next to a R8 Coupe V10 Audi... The Corvette made the $175K+ Audi look tame! Photos actually don't do it justice, you have to see one live to really appreciate it. I spent an hour admiring it. I wanted some daytime shots for better pics especially to see the engine better through the rear window, but it was gone by morning.

Just plain wicked looking!

Going home we flew over Mt St Helens, Mt Adams & Mt Rainier. Awesome sight!

Hey Alan, why don't you buy a new blue mid-engine Corvette to go with your blue Monster... what a pair that would be!

And Scott, you could get a red one to go with yours!
You only live once, right! Smiley

Probably shouldn't say it but I don't like the new C-8. Still like the C-3's the best & love my Avalanche. I would buy a new Ava in a minute if they still made them...guess I'm finally getting set in my ways Roll Eyes

We gave serious thought to doing just that. With the shortage of C8's and our desire to move has that purchase on hold until we settle elsewhere!Whideby Island has our eyes at the moment! We are going to official engage a Realtor also. We have a good friend in the business and will be working with her pretty soon on the beginnings of the search! LOL!

Whidbey Island is a nice place to retire... your retiring or working from home? Shortage of C8's, yep you got that right as Vic says his that he order over a year ago won't even be in production till late winter or early spring. So my wait for his 2014 will be then too. I should get it cheaper this way as it will be a year older.

Both.

I'd like to get moved then I can consider retiring.
It will be a balancing act for a bit as I don't want to sell our house until after we move out.

We could clean, paint, carpet, or what ever before selling.

We did all that when we sold our house... time consuming and a LOT of work...

I really don't want to move again as we really love the new place, but might do it again soon if we don't like what's going to happen in this area when Biden takes office in late January. CA, OR and WA won't be a suitable place for Republicans like us. So Idaho is on our radar and will make a decision this coming March/April.

I feel for you and I'm plenty bummed out how the election went. They're now going to undo everything Trump did and come after your snug!

It would be next to impossible for you to move with your house & business with what? 50-60+ years of stuff.
