Cruising to Colby is the largest multi day car event in Everett. It was almost cancelled a few years ago but fortunately it survives!

This year the cruise was moved from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Also went from an afternoon cruise to an evening cruise. FWIW Colby is simply a main Street through downtown Everett.

I generally do not go to the car show but I always try to make the cruise! This year was great with hundreds of cars They are allowed up to 600 cars and do hit the limit regularly!

This year the cruise was shifted to the evening. It was very cool to cruise at dusk with all the rides from beetles to rare race Ferraris! Gassers and old firetrucks! It was quite the spectacle!
There was one very noticeable change though. As it got darker, drivers became more playful! It slowly shifted from a nice docile slow moving cruise to engines reving and a frequent burnout could be heard! Now I love the fun however as things became more rowdy, I finally just headed home!

It was a fun cruise all around! Cool
I was however happy to safely park my vette in my garage!

Whew! Two weekends in a row cruising my vette! I don't think I have had this much car show activity ever! LOL!

My bride still loves me though!    Cheesy

Funny thing we had a fairly large cruise in a few weeks ago at a hooters in a shopping center parking lot...I didn't go.  But it seems that people got pretty rowdy near the end with lots of burn outs, donuts & racing. Never happened before
