You should bleed the inboard caliper half first then the outboard half. ;)

Oh good, I bought the seal kits for the fronts since I have the wheels and everything off and will need to bleed the entire system and now I know how to do it. Only thing is the in board one for the RR was froze and I ended up breaking it off. hopefully I can drill out out without boogering up the threads. Thanks Guys.

When I bought my 71 Vette last year, the old owner said the master cylinder was new. The brake pedal was low and the pedal went to the floor. There was no loss of fluid.
I ordered a brand new cylinder, not rebuilt, thinking it was bad. there was a lot of air coming from the front bleeder.
The pedal is still low and almost on floor.
Now I know why.
I will follow your instructions on the bleeding sequence.
Thank you

Most likely you have slip seals in your calipers. These tend to pump air into the system caused by rotor runout. You can go with O-ring seals to cure this. this is a kit with o-rings and new pistons.........................jack

Jack,
I did not bleed the system as described above. I am going to try that 1st.
Thanks, Buck Sr

Oh Jack,
By the way, there are new calipers on the car. Could they have the new kits on them and not the slip seals?
Thanks again,
Buck sr
