this Sunday at the Indianapolis 500 the Pace Car duties will again be handled by a Corvette the 2nd year in a row for the C-8 this year's car is a convertible so it's the 1st time since 2008 a convertible Corvette has paced the Race, and, the 18th time overall for the Corvette which made it's 1st debut as a Pace Car in 1978 for the car's 25th Anniversary.
